Dr. Larry Baucom
Lead Pastor

Larry founded Suncoast in 1998 and is the teaching pastor. His responsibilities include teaching in the four weekend services, coordinating leadership teams and overseeing the vision and direction of the church. His degrees include a B.A. from Trevecca University, a M.Div. from NTS (seminary) and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. He and his wife Becky have three adult children, Lora Aviles, Stacy Homan and Ryan Baucom.

Nic Williams

Amongst other things, he is currently a team leader with high school, middle school, kids ministry, and life groups. Nic's passion and main role is to simply help people connect to the body of Christ. Nic received his undergraduate degree and his M.Div from Luther Rice University and is currently working on his DMIN. He and his wife, Lory, have two children, Aubrie and Noah.

Mike Moyer
Production/Facilities Team Leader

Mike is the production and facilities team leader at Suncoast. His role is to ensure the sound, lighting, and video teams all work together to create the best possible worship environment for guests. He is also responsible for managing the custodial and grounds teams during the week, keeping the property well maintained.

Ryan Baucom

Ryan Baucom is the creative director and team leader at Suncoast. He is responsible for quality control and casting vision in the area of graphics, video, and music. In addition to being a team leader, Ryan also leads worship and helps write original music.

Sherri Caguiat

Sherri handles a variety of office duties during the week, as well as oversees some of the Guest Services areas during our weekend services. She also helps teach the First Experience Class for those new to the church.

Kevin Kiser

Kevin works in a variety of areas at Suncoast. He is involved with coordinating volunteer teams for greeters, VIP, parking attendants, and connections. He also does pastoral and organizational tasks. Because Kevin has a heart for seeing married couples connect stronger to God and each other, he and his wife, Sandy lead a Life Group that focuses on this. Kevin has a religion degree from Liberty University and a teenage daughter, Kayla.

Dan Miller
Associate Pastor - Pastoral Care

Dan Miller is responsible for pastoral care and hospitality at the weekend services. Not only does Dan officiate weddings and funerals, but he also is constantly making hospital visits and reaching out to families in need on behalf of Suncoast. As Dan leads the hospitality team on the weekend, he and his team help provide quality snack and beverage options that aid in the relaxed atmosphere that exists at Suncoast.

Life Group Director & VHQ Coordinator

Julie serves as the Life Group Director where she supports the life group leaders and helps people get connected into groups. She also coordinates the volunteer headquarters teams to create a community building experience for the numerous volunteers that serve at Suncoast during the weekend.

Joe Bradshaw

Joe's main responsibility is middle school ministry. Students in grades 6 through 8 meet
every weekend for games, worship, lesson and small groups. Outings are planned once or twice a month such as ice skating, bowling, pool parties, capture the flag, beach days etc.. Along with leading our middle school program, Joe also works with high school and college age students leading small groups and training them to serve in middle school ministry. -
Alex Kauffman
Pastor of Student Ministry

Alex is the high school pastor and an outreach team leader. He is responsible for connecting high school students with specific small groups that can grow together through accountability and service to the community. Not only does Alex organize the youth from Suncoast, but he also is in charge of managing Ministry Partners and any missions work done inside and outside of the country.

Bryan Homan

Bryan is in charge of the Suncoast website and works with the graphics and video editing team for special events. On the weekends Bryan runs the stream for the live services and also sometimes plays bass on Saturday night services. He is married to Stacy Homan and has three beautiful children. Colyn, Peyton, and Brady.

Ryan Parker

Not only does Ryan play drums on the weekends, but he is also in charge of the graphics department at Suncoast. It is part of his job to work closely with Ricardo and Ryan B in the area of writing music, and planning for the weekend services. He also likes big bear hugs so go GIVE HIM SOME!!!!!

Ricardo Aviles

Ricardo is responsible for many aspects of the weekend worship experience. His passion for selecting and writing original worship music that speaks to the heart of the church shows in every service. He is also the lead lighting designer, working closely with the production team to create an atmosphere for worship.

Whitney is in charge of global event coordination. Because she is a part of the creative team, she works closely in graphics, worship, and video.

Rita Hinton

Rita started her work at Suncoast as an intern over the summer of 2011 and joined the creative team on staff in the video department in September of that year. She writes, films and edits videos throughout the week and during services works in the production room as a director or switcher operator. Her dream is to direct and act in films.

Becky Baucom

Becky has used her passion for ministering to children and their families for over twenty-five years. Her team has grown to include ten children’s staff (full and part time) that work with nearly two hundred volunteers to make Suncoast kids an outstanding experience for your children. Becky is married to Pastor Larry and they have three adult children and three adorable grandchildren

Susan Hickman
Elementary and Special Events Coordinator

Susan enjoys using her gifts and talents to create an environment in the Elementary area where children will begin to develop a personal relationship with Christ. She also has a passion for equipping families to grow together spiritually through Faith at Home and fun special events. Susan is married to Kreg and has a daughter, Kylie and a son, Mac.

Candace is dedicated to creating a welcoming and exciting classroom experience for children in the nursery and preschool age groups by utilizing music, crafts and bible storytelling. Candace oversees the Children’s Check-in area and works to provide a safe and secure environment for your children. Candace and her husband Terry have four wonderful children.

Stacy Homan

Stacy teaches in all ages of elementary. She is passionate about forming relationships with volunteers and kids and showing the love of God to them. She also enjoys singing with the worship band. She has a degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Elementary Education with a specialization in ESE and uses her training to teach part-time at Suncoast Academy. She and her husband, Bryan, have 3 beautiful Children.

Julija Ribar

Julija has spent her whole life caring for children and works with birth to five year olds at Suncoast - Saturday night nursery and Sunday preschool classes. Before coming to Suncoast, she was in the international Au Pair program and also nanny’d for families in the US. Her passion has always been caring for people especcialy kids and sharing God`s love. Her family includes her husband Dan as well as three children with more on the way.

Lauren is a product of Suncoast’s Children’s Ministry and volunteered for many years before becoming a director. She has a passion for elementary-aged children and enjoys watching them grow in their relationship with Christ. She is married to Mike.

Leslie enjoys working with our preschoolers and teaching them about God’s love. Leslie has a background working with special needs children. Leslie and her family moved to SRQ from Los Angeles. She and her husband, Robert, have 2 children.

As a recent college graduate, Gabby has found her passion teaching elementary kids about the grace and love of Jesus Christ. She has an Elementary Education Degree from Trevecca Nazarene Univeristy. She also works with 3 & 4 year olds at a Child Development Center in Port Charlotte, FL.

Krista provides loving care for children up to 3-years old. She enjoys teaching little ones about the love of Jesus by using play and lots of love from our many volunteers. Krista has served in various areas of children’s ministry for many years. She and her husband, Travis, have five wonderful children.
